We added a 1400 sq ft addition to the cottage and rebuilt the original 768 sq ft cottage to become an open concept great room, eat-in area and kitchen. They added 3 new bathrooms, 3 bedrooms , game room and den. Cam’s crew showed up everyday at 7 am and worked until 3:30-4 pm …. Fridays they would leave by 2 pm. Their work ethic was incredible. Cam handled the co-ordination of trades, all billing would then go from the trade to Cam where he would apply a tithe for his business. It was a time and material arrangement so no fixed contract, you pay up at the end of every week. We paid top dollar for the trades but that kept us first in line for getting the work done. I hired this drywall and insulation contractor out of the Barrie area to work on my garage. They showed up on time and worked all day – even through a snow storm! Hired Matt’s company for the first time to trench our new electrical service and also replace our old 80′ 3rd septic pipe from the cottage to the septic tank. It involved crossing our driveway through a concrete tunnel to protect the PVC pipe. Matt showed up exactly when he said he would, then his crew also showed up the morning they were supposed to and worked non-stop until they finished. Great job and hard-working, friendly crew. From the first contact to completion we were very satisfied with what Thomas Gray did. He communicated regularly, told us what to expect and delivered as promised. I had Rick come over to put in an eavestrough and gutter guards. He was one of the best contractors I have ever had. Very meticulous, reasonable and came when he said he would.

Rick couldn’t come for a few weeks but it was worth the wait. He came on the agreed date and was done quickly – I did help him out by removing the old eavestrough. Gutter guard was installed on one section and appears to be working well. Highly recommended.

Despite the weather they climbed up the trees and safely removed and lowered the branches to the ground . His crew are a very youthful and fit group of fellows . Mike Lemay has serviced my outboard motor for over 10 years and I have always found him to be friendly, fair and able to coax the best performance out of my 40 yr old beast. We have had water pressure issues for a few years and had many plumbers out each one recommending something else and wasting money . Glenn found the issue and recommended a fix.

Gord specializes in well/lake pumps. He was able to find my fault in my system (electrial problem), provide recommendations to fix longer term and was great to deal with!

I contracted Dave to rebuild my cottage about 12 years ago and was completely satisfied with the work that was done. When I called Mike’s office, I was given a date and time for the appointment to clean my chimney. A couple of days before the appointment, I was given a reminder call. Pete installed three windows professionally, for a fair price and in a timely fashion for us to enjoy them this summer. Mike is an excellent carpenter. His work at our cottage included adding a screened porch, a bathroom, a bathroom renovation, roofing, staircase to the lake and many repairs when needed. Kahshe Boat Works has been taking car of our 30-year old Larson for the last few years. They pick it up at the dock in October and put it back in the water in the spring. When we arrived last weekend it was in the water at our dock. Perfectly clean, engine strong and runs as good as new and everything works including the gauges. Before Kahshe, we were going to get rid of the boat, but apparently there are a few good years left in it!

We moved over to Kahshe Boatworks a few years ago after bad experiences with some other marinas. Chad has done some renovations on the Larson including the engine and a new floor. Boat is running better than it has for many years.
